Tree Planting at The Glebe
A selection of flowering native trees have been planted at The Glebe paddock.

On Saturday 30 November, some councillors and residents met to plant trees at the paddock behind The Glebe.
We were very lucky with the weather on Saturday, and planted a selection of native flowering trees. We met again to finish the job on Sunday, though we were less lucky with the weather this time!
The new saplings are protected with tree guards to keep squirrels and deer at bay while they establish.
A huge thank you to Selina who donated a lovely cotoneaster tree, which looks great in its corner spot. Selina is also planting some donated grasses and perennials by the benches – a peaceful spot to pause and enjoy the view.
Do wander down and take a look when you have time!
