Planning

Planning applications are normally discussed by the parish council at its meetings.

The agenda for the forthcoming meeting is published at least 3 days prior to the council meeting. Whilst the parish council considers and comments on all planning applications affecting the village, the controlling authority is South Oxfordshire District Council who can choose to take on board or ignore our comments.

You can find information about the planning process on the South Oxfordshire District Council website.

You can find full details of all current and decided planning applications on the South Oxfordshire District Council’s Planning Application Register,  https://www.southoxon.gov.uk/south-oxfordshire-district-council/planning-and-development/local-plan-and-planning-policies/planning-registers/planning-application-register/Planning Application Register.

Dark Skies
