Nettlebed and District Commons Conservators
The conservators manage Highmoor Common Wood, Highmoor Common and Witheridge Hill Common.
Highmoor Common Wood covers 233 acres stretching from Highmoor Trench in the north to Grim’s Ditch in the south.
Highmoor Common consists of an area to the south of Grim’s Ditch stretching to the Dog & Duck Public House (now a private residence), an area of common land beyond the Dog and Duck and the triangular village green at Highmoor Cross.
Witheridge Hill Common is a mixture of woodlands and grasslands. The area is roughly bordered by roads and farmland to the north.
